Discover what various parts of Long Island and surrounding areas would look like at various stages of sea level rise.
The first map depicts what Long Island would look like from 0 meters through 60 meters of tidal inundation, while the second map depicts inundation from 0 to 10 feet.
You can see it doesn't take that much to displace hundreds of thousands of people.
This map is not a carefully surveyed and extremely accurate presentation. It is intended to provide a visual impression of which geographic areas might be flooded if global warming and climate change continue unabated.
